“On the 14th of September, Tom Wavy released his music video for the single ‘Can I Come Around’. The video was shot by Ruben de Kemp in Den Haag, the Netherlands.
The video was self directed and shot by using a DIY technique. The shots were made at places Tom Wavy loves. The basketbal court, his home studio and an intimate rooftop with friends in the city centre of Den Haag. The official music video for ‘Can I Come Around’ is the second music video that Tom Wavy released. His first video for the single ‘Dive Into Love’ was released last year and got supported by Adagio TV as well!”
Dive Into Love was written in Sri Lanka during a backpack journey through Asia. The song is inspired by warm, careless days on holiday and its uplifting rhythm and guitar chords perfectly translates this! Dive Into Love was recorded a few months later in the Netherlands, together with co-producer Ricardo Romijn and lead guitarist Thomas Booij. The music video features Tom Wavy himself, together with lead guitarist Thomas Booij, singing and playing at the beach side in Scheveningen, the Netherlands. Also, they are accompanied by Danielle van Wijk who provides the fitting dancing scenes. The music video is shot and directed by Willem Damen from Strawberry Visuals.
The positive vibes of the song are well displayed in the video, which shows the north sea during sunset, modern dance from professional dancer Danielle van Wijk and the beautiful dunes and beach side of Scheveningen.
Tom Wavy -Tomas Uijttenboogaard- is a music artist from The Hague, the Netherlands.
His music is influenced by indie-pop and folk and is characterized by it’s positive and uplifting sound. Tom Wavy started his musical journey when he was traveling through Asia and Australia in 2015. The carefree life, the beautiful nature and the positivity of all the people around him inspired him to write songs. The purchase of an acoustic guitar soon followed and in no time the first songs were written, which are still part of his repertoire today. Writing new music continued throughout the journey, and now, back in the Netherlands, Tom Wavy has continued to develop his own catchy and sunny sound with influences from pop, folk and even dance music. 2019 is the first year in which Tom Wavy, in collaboration with a co-producer and lead guitarist, released his first singles on all music streaming services. In these three singles you can hear the same positive and uplifting vibes that he manages to convey during live performances. More music and gigs are coming soon, so make sure to keep an eye on this Dutch rising artist! “My music will effortlessly make you long for relaxing summer days.”
